In our hotel Hessigheim the guest can move into one of the modernguest rooms, leave the car and explore the unique landscape on foot or by bike. You can climb in the rock gardens, row on the Neckar River, stroll through the vineyards and nearby winegrowing villages, or head for the sights and culture of the residential city of Ludwigsburg and the entire Stuttgart region. As a wine lover, our guest sits at the source and can enjoy the wines from our own offer in our vinotheque or on the terrace in the courtyard in peace.

ExNicrum wine manufactory

We have reopened our house in the spring of 2021. It now belongs to exNicrum Weinmanufaktur, which produces its own wines, sells them here at its headquarters in the village center of Hessigheim, and serves them in its guest rooms with matching dishes, even to guests who are not staying overnight. Our small but fine hotel is located in the village center of Hessigheim, directly opposite the picturesque town hall. We rebuilt it in 2017, in the style of a village house and in the spirit of the vintner’s house that stood here since 1564.

Hessigheim is located on the Württemberg Wine Route in the Stuttgart region between Ludwigsburgand Heilbronn. With its vineyards, Hessigheim is a wine village par excellence, an idyll without any industry or urban sprawl, the antithesis of the city, as it were. Here you will find our beautiful hotel with its guest rooms. The village is located directly on the Neckar River and at the feet of the famous rock gardens, in a romantic scenery of stone labyrinth and vine hill. Below the rock gardens, the steep slope Wurmberg with its countless vineyard terraces stretches towards Besigheim. On the other side of the central vineyards, in the direction of Mundelsheim, the bacchanalian amphitheater of the Käsberg opens up, a south-facing site, terraced and completely planted with vines.
